Job Description Job Title: Carpenter Job Description We are seeking skilled and dependable Commercial Carpenters to join our construction team in Madison, WI. This role involves working on a variety of commercial projects including healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and industrial buildings. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures., • Construct, install, and repair wood and metal framing, drywall, doors, windows, and finish carpentry components., • Build and dismantle concrete formwork systems for foundations and structural elements., • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently., • Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to meet project deadlines., • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards., • Perform layout and leveling using laser levels, tape measures, and other precision tools., • Adapt to changing site conditions and project scopes while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Essential Skills • 4+ years of carpentry experience (validate on resume & with references), • Experience in construction, commercial projects, framing, rough carpentry, and rough framing, • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools Additional Skills & Qualifications • Valid driver's license - must be able to get from project to project independently, • Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen Why Work Here? Work Environment You will be working on a construction jobsite involving new construction or buildout projects. The team size includes 40 people in the Milwaukee crew and 20 in the Madison crew, with plans to expand the Madison team. Dress code is casual, and you will need to bring personal hand tools. Personal protective equipment required includes a hard hat and boots. Some overtime may be required depending on project demands. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
