QUICK FACTS Position 1: 4K Teacher Float • Location: Multiple locations as needed, • Pay: $53,169.60/year annual salary, • Location: Assigned classroom location, • Pay: $56,498.40/year starting salary (could be higher based on years of 4K teaching experience and education) WHAT WE OFFER Comprehensive Benefits • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • Generous Paid Time Off & Holidays, • 403(b) Retirement with Company Match After 2 Years, • Company-Paid Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability, • Flexible Spending Accounts, • School calendar schedule with built-in seasonal breaks, • Float Position: Flexibility to work across multiple locations and support various programs, • Classroom Teacher: Dedicated classroom environment with consistent student relationships, • Professional teaching role with supervision and performance feedback responsibilities, • Collaborative environment with parents, staff, and community partners, • Comprehensive child development services integration (education, health, nutrition, family support), • DPI certification pathway support, • Comprehensive professional development: ongoing coaching, paid continuing education, and credential support, • Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education with 18 ECE credits, or related degree with 18 ECE credits, • Certification: DPI certification in ECE or related field OR ability to become DPI certified, • Registry Requirements: Must secure Registry certificate within 90 days, • Experience:, • Minimum 1 year in early care education setting, • Preschool teaching experience (supervised student teaching, licensed program experience, or public school preschool), • Experience working with low-income families, • Professional Competencies: Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, alignment with agency mission, • Language: Bilingual in Hmong and/or Spanish preferred As a 4K Teacher, you'll prepare children for educational success by: • Providing a safe, nurturing environment that encourages social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, • Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum for children in low-income, at-risk environments, • Ensuring delivery of comprehensive child development services including education, health, nutrition, and family support, • Following Head Start Performance Standards, Dane County Parent Council work plans, and accreditation criteria, • Providing supervision and performance feedback for reporting staff, • Building positive relationships with parents, children, coworkers, and community partners, • Connecting families with necessary support services and referrals, • Promoting parent involvement in their children's education, • Maintaining compliance with licensing requirements and program standards At Reach Dane, we're reimagining early childhood education as a powerful tool for social transformation.
