Flexibility in scheduling is a key aspect, and the tutor should be able to adapt to our child’s learning pace and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with daily homework assignments across multiple subjects. • Support our child in staying organized and prepared for school activities and tests. • Communicate regularly with teachers (if needed) to stay informed about school progress. • Help foster good study habits and time management skills. • Provide emotional support and understanding to help our child navigate challenges in school. • Engage with school life beyond academics, encouraging participation in extracurricular activities if applicable. Qualifications: • Fluent in both Chinese and English • Experience tutoring children in elementary/middle school subjects. • Ability to handle the emotional needs of children with care, patience, and understanding. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Flexible availability to accommodate our child’s school schedule. • Educated to at least a college level in any field, preferably with experience in education or child development. Schedule: • Flexible hours, typically during after-school hours and weekends, with occasional check-ins during the day if needed.
