They are seeking an IT Technical Project Manager and Business Analyst to join their team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $64k - $80k Position Overview: The IT Technical Project Manager and Business Analyst reports to the Director of the Project Management Office (PMO) for Technology and is responsible for the successful execution of IT projects of varying size and complexity. This hybrid role combines Project Management (50%), Business Analysis (25%), and Quality Assurance (25%). This position will manage cross-functional initiatives, define business requirements, and support QA/testing efforts while collaborating closely with stakeholders and PMO team members. Responsibilities of the IT Technical Project Manager and Business Analyst: • Manage small to medium-sized IT projects using PMBOK methodologies, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure., • Develop project charters, schedules, communication plans, and project documentation., • Maintain risk registers, issue logs, and mitigation strategies., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and SMEs to gather and define business and technical requirements., • Utilize PPM tools to manage project assets, documentation, and reporting., • Facilitate project meetings and provide clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership., • Support transition of projects to operational teams and document lessons learned., • Perform business analysis activities including requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder coordination., • Develop and execute quality assurance strategies, including UAT plans, test scripts, and defect tracking., • Monitor and report on testing outcomes, bugs, and quality concerns., • Escalate project risks and issues appropriately to leadership., • Work toward obtaining CAPM and/or PMP certification. Required Experience/Skills for the IT Technical Project Manager and Business Analyst:, • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field., • 2+ years of relevant IT experience., • Experience with IT project coordination, project management, business analysis, and/or quality assurance., • Foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, security, software development)., • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills., • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite., • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and resolve conflicts., • Proven ability to succeed in a blended IT Technical Project Manager and Business Analyst capacity. Preferred Experience/Skills for the IT Technical Project Manager and Business Analyst:, • Experience in higher education IT environments., • Familiarity with Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) tools (e.g., TeamDynamix)., • Knowledge of business analysis and QA methodologies., • Exposure to automated testing tools., • Progress toward or possession of CAPM, PMP, CBAP, or PMI-PBA certifications. Education Requirements:, • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline is required.
