Position Summary: The Warehouse Lead supports day-to-day warehouse operations for FyterTech by coordinating daily work, prioritizing tasks, and monitoring workflow to help ensure efficient, safe, and professional pick-ups and deliveries between FyterTech and our vendors and customers. This role also tracks key measures, completes routine audits, and maintains inventory records and reports, escalating issues to the Division Manager as needed. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Follow and reinforce FyterTech policies and rules; report concerns to the Division Manager., • Help ensure the warehouse operates efficiently — with customer satisfaction the primary goal — by leading daily work activities, organizing priorities, and assisting with training and coaching of warehouse employees while supporting operational goals (OTIF%, Turns)., • Support warehouse operating processes by coordinating product handling and storage activities, equipment utilization, inventory tasks, cycle counting, and shipping methods., • Assist with training and day-to-day guidance for the warehouse team to help resolve operational issues and support short- and long-term performance goals., • Coordinate daily operations, including inventory movements and shipping/receiving activities, and communicate exceptions or concerns to the Division Manager., • Review and help document workflows, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet FyterTech standards for safety, productivity, quality, and customer service; communicate improvement opportunities to the Division Manager., • Help maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and reinforcing established standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations; report hazards and incidents promptly., • Small parcel set up and administration., • Implementation of small parcel provider, • Liaison with small parcel partner, • Day-to-day coordination, • Participate in interviews as requested and provide job-related feedback to support selection decisions., • Demonstrate and follow safe work practices and policies to maintain a safe and clean work environment., • Process NetSuite transactions accurately and on time to support department efficiency., • Track and report daily and monthly logistics metrics; communicate trends or issues to leadership., • Monitor workflow and steps in the process, and be directly involved with improving warehouse efficiencies, reducing costs, identifying unfavorable trends, and taking timely corrective actions within assigned authority., • Keep a positive, energetic, can-do attitude when representing the company to employees, customers, and visitors., • Ability to climb, walk, do light lifting, sit for long periods, or stand for long periods., • Organized, analytical, creative, and adaptive in your approach to problem solving., • Assist in troubleshooting supply chain issues and seeking collaborative input to find solutions., • Knowledge in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint., • Successfully track, report, manage and move projects from start to finish., • Participates in internal and external training and development opportunities as required., • Performs other duties as may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position. These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:, • Education in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred but will take experience into consideration., • CFR49 Certified recommended but not required, • Proven experience in warehouse operations (shipping/receiving, inventory control, and workflow coordination) for at least 3–5 years., • Demonstrated experience supporting shipping and warehouse operations., • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects., • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and understand the importance of timely and complete communication to all who are impacted by a decision., • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills., • Able to facilitate small group interactions., • Able to set clear expectations for day-to-day work, reinforce standards, and escalate concerns appropriately., • Demonstrate effective organizational and time management skills. You have the ability to set and adjust priorities, meet deadlines, and work with minimum direct supervision while effectively handling several projects at one time., • Provide constructive feedback to co-workers., • Have a sense of urgency in responding to external and internal customers., • Use proactive measures to increase customer satisfaction and company profitability., • Be a reliable team player who seeks continuous improvement in yourself., • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite of products, with a focus on Outlook, Excel, and Word., • Proficient in standard warehouse operations software (e.g., WMS/ERP tools)., • Good written and verbal communication skills., • Strong interpersonal skills; personal and pleasant to both internal and external customers., • Enjoys working in a strong team environment. Work Relationship and Scope: Reports to the Division Manager and works closely with all other colleagues at FyterTech to accomplish established goals. Works daily with highly confidential business and employee information. Measures of Performance: Safety, quality, accuracy, reliability, friendliness, thoroughness and timeliness of services provided to internal and external customers; adherence to FyterTech policies and procedures; ability to earn the trust and respect of employees and co- workers; effectively communicates and develops good working relationships with co-workers; professional workplace appearance and conduct; keeps FyterTech, customer, and employee information confidential; participates in training and appropriate professional development; reliability in reporting to work regularly and on time; understands and adheres to FyterTech policies and procedures. Working Conditions: Work is performed within the normal FyterTech setting. Prolonged and frequent mental and visual concentration required. Periodic stressful situations in response to multiple priorities within established deadlines. Work hours are generally during normal business hours, as both scheduled and unscheduled work hours may arise. Must be able to bend, twist, turn and lift/move up to fifty pounds. Required travel between offices. Out-of-town/overnight business travel may also be required. Serves as a representative of the organization at appropriate functions.
