Thrive in a People-First Environment and Make Healthcare Better • Thrive: We empower our team with career growth opportunities, tuition assistance, and resources that support your wellness, education, and financial well-being., • People-First: We prioritize your well-being with paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and a supportive, inclusive culture where you are valued and cared for., • Make Healthcare Better: We use advanced technology to support our team and enhance patient care., • The Special Procedures Tech is responsible for assisting the Physician during interventional radiological procedures., • Provides assistance to Physicians, other Radiology Technicians, and Registered Nurses in the performance of more complex procedures., • Coordinates the daily activities within the Interventional Radiology Department., • Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with approved technique and the ALARA limits., • Positions the patient on the examining table and sets up and adjusts equipment to obtain optimum view of the specific body area as requested by the physician., • Functions to work independently and in a cooperative manner in teamwork teamwork-oriented atmosphere within the department and hospital-wide., • Explains procedures to the patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation., • Under the direction of a Radiologist or Vascular Surgeon, performs all Interventional procedures on all patient populations., • Prepares and maintains a sterile environment by using aseptic techniques, drapes, equipment, and solutions while assisting the interventional radiologist., • Practices established principles of radiation safety and protection., • Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of all radiographic equipment and computer systems such as RIS, PACS, and other hospital-based computer or PC systems., • Utilizes time productively and appropriately with respect to patient flow, room use, stocking of supplies, and clerical duties to increase department efficiency Qualifications Job Requirements: • High School diploma or equivalent., • 2+ years’ experience as a Radiology Technician., • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program., • NJ Diagnostic Radiology License., • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification., • 2+ years’ experience in Interventional or Cath lab. Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year Job Description: Position : Full Time Radiology Technologist (FT – 37.5 hours/week) Hospital in Yonkers, NY Location/Schedule: Monday through Friday with weekends - 4p-12a Responsibilities: The Radiology Technologist is responsible for producing radiographs of various parts of the body. Positions patients under the X-Ray machine and regulates technical factors to produce radiographs. Assists radiologists in X-Ray procedures; prepares patients, draws contrast media, mixes barium and maintains daily work log. Position and transfers patients to and from x-ray table using proper safety techniques. Select proper technical factors for examination. Develop film by automatic or daylight processing. Assist physician in administering opaque media and during fluoroscopy exams. Mixes barium for contrast exams. Draw up contrast media for opaque exams using sterile technique. Dispose of biomedical waste using CDC and OSHA guidelines. Maintain daily worksheet for assigned room. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned rooms. Rotate radiographic/fluoroscopic/OR room when assigned. Maintain adequate room supplies s/respiratory and suction tubing. Must follow all Federal, State and hospital health safety codes especially in reference to Radiation, electrical and mechanical safety. Provides explanation of test to patient. Obtains signature on consent form. Required to use a particulate respirator (mask) when exposed to patients with suspected of known TB. Review and incorporate the Hospital and Department Mission Statements in daily work activities as well as QA goals, procedures and models. Qualifications: Current NYS license/registration in Radiologic Technology, Graduate of an approved school for Radiologic Technology. ARRT registered. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate, • Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards, • Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files, • Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back-and-forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate, • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds, • Operate and maintain printer, plotter, laminator, • Proficiently uses hand and power tools, • Assist with on-site installations when necessaryIdeal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer/Production Specialist:, • 3-5 years of graphic design experience, • High School diploma or equivalent, • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, • Comfortable operating large format printer/plotter/laminator, • Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously, • Determine the best output method based on the customers needs, • Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more), • Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality workDo you enjoy working with people?
