You will play a key leadership role in achieving hospital-wide objectives by aligning surgical services operations with organizational priorities around quality, safety, patient experience, and growth. You’ll partner closely with executive leadership, physicians, and clinical teams to shape decision-making, develop and implement programs and policies, and ensure that care delivery models effectively meet the evolving needs of patients. Key Responsibilities • Provide strategic, administrative, and operational oversight of surgical services, ensuring alignment with hospital goals and objectives, • Organize and administer clinical and patient care services across all perioperative departments:, • (Pre-Op, OR, Endoscopy, PACU, Sterile Processing, Pre-Anesthesia Clinic, Cath Lab), • Develop, implement, and evaluate hospital-wide programs, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, • Lead the development and execution of plans for nursing care, treatment, and clinical services across surgical services, • Partner with hospital administration, medical staff, and clinical leaders to actively participate in decision-making structures and operational planning, • Drive improvements in OR utilization, throughput, and surgical volume across a 13-room platform with strong growth opportunity, • Establish and maintain an ongoing, data-driven performance improvement program to measure, assess, and enhance quality, safety, and patient outcomes, • Collaborate with physicians to improve engagement, scheduling efficiency, and procedural access, • Oversee staffing models, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective operations, • Lead, mentor, and develop leaders and staff, including a department manager, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies, • Champion initiatives that enhance patient experience, clinical excellence, and team performance Qualifications • Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse, • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current., • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current., • Minimum of 5 years Acute Care experience, • Minimum of 2 years previous Administrative experience preferred., • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
