Job Description Astor Services, a leading provider of behavioral and mental health services in the Bronx and the Hudson Valley, is dedicated to nurturing the emotional and mental well-being of children, adolescents, and families. Currently, we have openings for clinicians in our Day Treatment (DT) program, which is a highly structured, school-based treatment program that provides mental health and educational services to children in grades K-8, and those obtaining their high school equivalency with serious emotional and behavioral issues. This program offers therapeutic, behavioral, and educational support to elementary and middle school students who have been unsuccessful in their previous school placements and need more support from a therapeutic program. Daily activities include individual, group, and family therapy, keeping detailed documentation, and communicating with all necessary agencies. Experience with mental health is required. This position closely follows a Department of Education school schedule. You must have: • MSW, MHC, LMSW, LMHC, LCSW. You should have: • Experience with the population served is preferred. Job Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine treatment needs., • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, caregivers, and other service providers., • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices., • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, case managers, and educators, to ensure coordinated care., • Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed., • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients and families as necessary., • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions., • Participate in supervision, training, and professional development activities.
