The Associate Product Manager will work full timeand will come with some really cool perks as well as ensuring that as an individual you have the proper work/life balance. Salaray Range $95,000.00 to $115,000.00 yearly In a nutshell //We are looking for a talented Product Manager for our Rights Squad who is passionate about building products to delight and empower clients. This is a highly visible role that interacts with the senior leaders and directly with clients. The position reports to the Director of Product Management. What you can expect to do // • Become the expert on Symphonics content and catalog management systems, including ingestion, publishing, licensing, rights, and metadata workflows for assets like sound recordings, music videos, and compositions., • Maintain a steady cadence of work for developers and data engineers, • Document requirements with user stories, wireframes, mockups, detailed acceptance criteria, and other artifacts as necessary, • Work closely with operations teams and other stakeholders to understand processes and needs that can be met with technical development, • Interview end users on a regular basis, • Groom product backlogs on a daily basis and eliminate any blockers, • Envision new features that differentiate Symphonic and solve company and customer problems, • Participate in a fast, continuous delivery development process, including leading daily standups, • Work with QA to ensure that new features meet acceptance criteria, • Own feature launches and monitor adoption, • Formulate, test, and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing, • Collaborate with stakeholders to test and deliver data-driven features that add value, • Collaborate with product marketing on go-to-market plans What you will need to have // • 5 years of experience working in a similar role, • Familiarity with content management systems, digital asset management, or rights management platforms., • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills to both explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and provide context to engineers and designers, • Ability to prioritize work in a fluid decision-making environment, • Good instincts for what is easy or hard to implement with a given tech stack, • Willingness to use the best ideas, not just your own ideas, • Focus on user experience, • Experience using ticket management tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps), • Experience taking features from ideas through implementation and launch, • Ability to write basic SQL queries to perform analysis What will set you apart // • 5+ years of experience with publishing and rights management, • Previous roles in product or project management for web or mobile applications, • Experience working in the music industry, particularly with publishing and/or UGC data, • YouTube CMS certified, • Experience with digital distribution platforms, publishing administration, or rights management organizations (PROs, CMOs, etc.), • Ability to explain the music rights management landscape with ease, • Understanding of feature flags and continuous deployment, • Experience managing stakeholder groups, • Entrepreneurial spirit and a bias toward action, • And an interest in leveraging technology (AI, ML, automation) to solve catalog and rights challenges Additional Insights: • This is a full time remote position, • Candidates must be currently residing in one of the following states:, • Maryland, • Virginia, • Washington, D.C., • Tenneessee, • Florida, • New York About Symphonic Distribution Symphonic Distribution enables content creators to fully maximize their musics revenue and grow their global audience.
