Job Description Job Title: Workshop Supervisor Job Description The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for compiling, classifying, and monitoring the workshop service in relation to vehicle and installation maintenance and disruptions. This role involves advising management and informing team members about operational decisions, while ensuring quality service delivery, promoting safety, and maintaining compliance with company values. Responsibilities • Coach and lead the team, ensuring quality, efficiency, safety, and resource management., • Motivate team members and foster teamwork., • Manage work package implementation using SAP for resource and manpower allocation., • Ensure correct stock management by determining and ordering necessary resources., • Provide management with insights into planning feasibility and advise on solutions and bottlenecks., • Identify and visualize planned maintenance and outstanding problems using available systems., • Track the progress of disruptions and maintenance, monitoring standard times and bottlenecks., • Assist team members in processing production figures and quality data., • Create, check, evaluate, and sign inspection lists., • 5 years of hands-on GSE maintenance experience., • 3-5 years of leadership/management experience., • Expert technical experience in GSE maintenance and repair including mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, air pressure, air conditioning/refrigeration units, and electrical systems., • Ability to make complex decisions under pressure., • Stress resistance., • Commitment to achieving an OSHA-friendly working environment., • Good MS Office 365 skills., • Ability to act as a role model and drive for excellence., • Strong communication and team collaboration skills. Work Environment This on-site role is based at the assigned workshop, requiring regular movement across workshop, yard, and airside areas, as well as office-based administrative work. The position involves active supervision, equipment inspections, and interactions with staff and customers. Physical requirements include frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting. Expect exposure to noise, weather, and typical industrial hazards. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Newark, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00/yr. They offer three different medical plans with UHC (1 HSA plan and two traditional plans), there is cost sharing as well, for Employee Only TCR covers 80% of the monthly premium, for EE+ 1 or EE + Family TCR covers 65%. Delta is through Delta Dental And Vision is through UHC It's a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, a 401k plan, PTO, paid sickness leave, and the provision of all PPE.
