Bosch Building Technologies Integrator Business The regional system integration business called Bosch Building Technologies offers solutions and customized services for building security, energy efficiency, and building automation for commercial buildings and infrastructure projects Bosch started its Integrator Business in North America through the acquisition of Climatec in 2015. Climatec expanded Bosch’s role as a comprehensive supplier of energy, building automation and security solutions. Climatec is recognized in the building industry as an independent single-source integrator of critical building systems including energy services, building automation and security & life safety in the U.S. market. The company provides consulting, planning, implementation and 24/7 remote management. Climatec is active in several market segments and industries including data centers, commercial real estate buildings, and federal, state, and local government. Climatec has operated as an independent entity, maintaining its offices in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, New York, and New Jersey. Climatec continues to represent and integrate numerous leading manufactures’ product lines across its wide range of services, including Bosch products. In 2023, Bosch acquired Canadian-based security integrator Paladin Technologies. Merging Paladin Technologies and Climatec will significantly expand Bosch’s Integrator Business in North America. Today the combined entity of Bosch Building Technologies (previously Climatec and Paladin Technologies) represents over $800M in revenues and 2800 associates. Utilizing the strengths of both companies, Bosch offers its customers a complete portfolio of networked and efficient energy, building automation and security solutions. Job Summary: Responsible for driving new business and growing key accounts across the assigned territory through strategic prospecting, relationship building, and technical solution selling. Develop and execute sales plans, interpret plans and specifications to build accurate estimates, and partner with internal engineering and operations teams to deliver BAS/BMS solutions that meet customer needs. Responsibilities: • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and utilizing Climatec marketing strategies and maintain a high level of sales activity (i.e. prospecting, first calls, proposals, etc.), • Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of Company product offerings., • Demonstrate a proficient working knowledge in implementing the selling cycle from identifying and qualifying prospects and then successfully closing the sale., • Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog that will support achieving the designated sales plan., • Development of estimate and proposal for projects. Coordinate subcontractors for estimating purposes., • Develop a sales plan for assigned accounts and sales opportunities to include qualifying and prioritizing opportunities, and maintain appropriate sales activity records. Allocate time effectively with the goal of meeting or exceeding assigned goals. Assume account management responsibility to assure complete customer satisfaction., • Develop technical skills to thoroughly understand the functionality of Climatec products and our competitor’s products as they relate to overall building function., • Be aware of local and national codes that drive specific system and building configurations., • Provide leadership and input to others as requested or required to assist in the accurate estimation, design, installation, start up, commissioning, and training for building systems., • Communicate and establish relationships with sales related entities as required such as consulting engineers, building owners, and contractors to assist in advancing Climatec’s competitive position on projects., • Ability to work as a team member, which may require working with other sales representatives in Climatec., • Actively participate in outside organizations associated with the aspects of construction deliverables., • Provide support for ongoing service engineering and support for existing building systems., • Development and maintenance of all required sales and expense reports on a timely manner., • Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: • Minimum of a high school diploma., • At least 5+ years of experience in a technical or operational role related to HVAC, electronics, or building systems + construction., • 5+ years of sales experience, including customer interaction, understanding client needs, and presenting solutions. Construction and owner direct sales., • Proficiency in basic computer systems, including the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)., • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written., • Working independently, • Bilingual (Spanish) for Miami Only: Fluent in Spanish and English, ensuring effective communication in diverse environments. Preferred Qualifications: • Two-year technical degree in HVAC, Electronics, or related studies., • Undergraduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Construction Management, or related fields (highly desirable)., • At least 7+ years of experience in a technical or operational role related to HVAC, electronics, or building systems + construction., • 7+ years of sales experience, including customer interaction, understanding client needs, and presenting solutions. Construction and owner direct sales., • Prior experience working with HVAC operations in facilities or the controls field is strongly preferred., • A thorough understanding of HVAC operations within facilities, particularly if working in controls or automation., • Demonstrated ability or willingness to develop selling skills independently through books, seminars, or training classes., • Experience with Alerton systems and implementation process. Physical Demands: In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers, • Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipment, • Sitting, standing, walking in office environments and construction sites, • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may be required to work at heights over 1.8m (6 feet) Working Conditions: In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. • The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate, • Will be required to be on site with customers or contractors, with or without BBT colleagues to manage the expectations and deliverables.
