Job Description Location: Roseville, CA (On-Site Required for Filming) Department: Marketing Reports to: Marketing Leadership Employment Type: Full-Time About Us We are a growing CPA firm building modern, media-driven brands in the tax and accounting space. One of our flagship initiatives, Tax Daddy, is focused on education, authority, and trust—helping business owners understand tax strategy through clear, authentic content. To support this growth, we’re expanding our in-house marketing team with a Videographer & Editor who can help bring our thought leadership to life through high-quality, in-person video. The Role This role is central to our content strategy. Our founder, Peter, is the face of our authority-building efforts, and video content featuring him—explaining concepts, sharing perspective, attending events, and engaging in real-world situations—is critical to our brand growth. We’re looking for a videographer who can both film and edit, allowing us to consistently capture authentic, on-the-ground content that can’t be produced remotely or with stock footage. You’ll work closely with our existing video team to expand capacity, reduce bottlenecks, and support scalable, long-term content production. Key Responsibilities • Film high-quality, in-person video content featuring leadership, primarily Peter, for brand and educational use, • Capture content at events, meetings, office days, and day-to-day moments, • Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and internal use, • Collaborate with marketing leadership and existing video staff to plan shoots and production schedules, • Assist in balancing production and editing workloads as video demand grows, • Maintain consistent visual style aligned with brand guidelines, • Manage footage organization, file storage, and basic production workflows Required Qualifications • Able to travel locally or regionally for filming as needed, • Proven experience filming and editing professional video content, • Strong understanding of lighting, audio, framing, and storytelling for social platforms, • Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent), • Comfortable filming real people in real environments (not just staged shoots), • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a marketing team Preferred Qualifications • Experience producing content for personal brands, executives, or thought leaders, • Familiarity with short-form social content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn video), • Basic motion graphics or captioning experience, • Interest in business, entrepreneurship, or finance-related content Why This Role Matters: This position is not just about filming—it’s about building trust and authority through authentic video. Having an in-house videographer allows us to: • Capture real, unscripted moments that strengthen brand credibility, • Move faster and reduce production bottlenecks, • Scale video output to meet growing demand, • Support the long-term growth of the Tax Daddy brand What We Offer • Competitive salary based on experience, • Opportunity to shape a high-visibility brand from the ground up, • Creative ownership and collaboration with a growing marketing team, • Stable, long-term role within an established firm investing heavily in content Company DescriptionPeter Holtz CPA has been a leader in tax planning, consulting, and accounting services.
