Job DescriptionJob Title: Industrial Facilities Technician II Job Description The role involves maintaining, installing, and repairing facility and automation equipment within the Dream Fulfillment Center (DFC). This position requires minimal oversight for more complex work assignments. Responsibilities • Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on powered industrial equipment and conveyor systems, ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout., • Diagnose and perform repairs and preventive maintenance on building equipment such as air compressors, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems., • Perform welding repairs as needed., • Communicate frequently with Facilities Manager and Operations leaders/team members regarding repair work status and any implications on operations., • Perform project work to support warehouse daily operations and building projects as assigned, potentially leading projects and coordinating the work of others., • Maintain CMMS, work orders, and inventory; perform other related duties as assigned., • Train Junior team members using On-the-Job Training techniques: Observe, Discuss, Perform, Evaluate, and provide feedback.Essential Skills, • Expertise in facilities maintenance, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance., • Proficiency in maintenance technician skills, painting, carpentry, PLC, conveyor, building maintenance, repair, PMs, and facility management., • Knowledge of boiler, roof top units, industrial dryers, hydraulics maintenance, and mechanical systems.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Ability to diagnose and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on powered industrial and conveyor systems., • Experience with welding repairs and communicating effectively with team members and managers.Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment involves frequent lifting and carrying of tools and/or products weighing 5 to 60 pounds, frequent pushing or pulling of materials and/or equipment, and frequent standing when working and when driving powered industrial equipment. There is also frequent walking primarily in the warehouse, and regular reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting. Occasional sitting is required for office tasks and reviewing and entering data in the computer. The role includes repetitive motion and substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.50 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
