As an international company, we are looking for a Procurement Engineer who is responsible for the supply of PV module steel structure. JOB DESCRIPTION • Creating a base RFQ by checking ground reports and general loads required for static calculations such as snow and wind load in the region,, • Monitoring project timelines and issuing purchase orders to meet delivery requirements,, • Obtaining quotes and conducting quote analysis,, • Having the capacity to technically review offers,, • Effectively lead continuous improvement projects,, • Assuring purchased product costs and Outline Agreements are accurately established and maintained in ERP,, • Monitoring and driving supplier OTD performance by leveraging open p/o report,, • Engaging corporate quality, business unit(s), and suppliers in the First Article Inspection process (FAI) to support product changes,, • Effectively manage supplier selection to meet quality, service, delivery, cost, risk mitigation, and supplier capabilities to meet requirements,, • Hosting supplier project meetings and issuing meeting notes with action items, due dates, and ownership,, • Actively negotiating with suppliers to address quality, delivery, price, or service discrepancies,, • Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements,, • Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers,, • Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers, QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering,, • Experience in construction procurement,, • Good command of written and spoken English,, • Having reporting skill and basic use of Autocad,, • Having general knowledge of static calculations,, • Having worked in a steel structure production or installation company,, • Having sufficient technical knowledge to make technical purchasing, be able to interpret ground reports and mechanical projects, and have the technical ability to evaluate whether the offers received are suitable for the project needs,, • Extensive experience working in the procurement department in an operations and manufacturing field,, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to succinctly summarize information and provide the detail necessary to take tasks through to completion,, • Strong interpersonal skills, must be willing to regularly engage in-person and over the phone with internal stakeholders and suppliers,, • Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to work across multiple software platforms,, • Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
