Telephone Operator – The Ritz‑Carlton Abama Resort, Tenerife, Spain. Full‑time, non‑management position. Responsibilities • Answer all internal and external telephone calls promptly, professionally and courteously., • Direct calls and guest requests accurately to the appropriate departments., • Provide guests with detailed information about resort facilities, dining venues, spa services, activities, transportation and local attractions., • Manage guest requests efficiently and follow up to ensure complete satisfaction., • Record and deliver messages accurately while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality., • Support emergency communication procedures in accordance with established hotel protocols., • Work closely with Front Office, Guest Relations, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Food & Beverage and other departments to ensure seamless communication across the resort., • Maintain up‑to‑date operational information and internal directories., • Ensure every telephone interaction reflects The Ritz‑Carlton’s commitment to personalized luxury service and attention to detail., • Support Front Office operations whenever required to enhance the overall guest experience. Qualifications • Warm, confident, and professional communication style with a genuine passion for guest service., • Previous experience as a Telephone Operator, Front Office Agent, Guest Services Agent, Call Center Representative or a similar customer‑facing role, preferably within luxury hospitality., • Excellent multitasking, organizational and problem‑solving skills., • Ability to remain calm and composed while managing multiple priorities., • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with different departments., • Fluency in English and Spanish is essential; German or additional languages are a strong advantage., • Good computer skills; experience with hotel property management systems is an asset., • Valid work permit for Spain.
