To support our continued growth, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team in Madrid, focused on driving new business opportunities and contributing directly to revenue generation. Job Description Are you a communicative, driven, and results-oriented professional with a passion for sales? We’re looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong commercial mindset, responsible for driving new business opportunities across the early stages of the sales cycle. The role will begin with a strong focus on outbound prospecting, lead generation, and qualification of potential clients, with direct exposure to client conversations and opportunity development. As you build experience in the role, you will progressively take on ownership of closing deals and managing the full sales cycle. In this role, you will play a key part in building and accelerating the sales pipeline, supporting the generation of new business and contributing to the company’s revenue growth. Your Mission As a Business Development Manager (BDM), your main goal will be to drive new business generation and support the development of high-quality opportunities: • Identify, research, and prioritize target accounts and new business opportunities., • Execute outbound prospecting strategies through multiple channels (email, LinkedIn, calls, events, etc.)., • Generate and qualify leads, understanding client needs, challenges, and potential fit., • Conduct initial conversations with decision-makers and key stakeholders., • Build and nurture early-stage relationships to develop a strong sales pipeline., • Support opportunity progression within the sales cycle, working closely with senior sales team members., • Maintain accurate CRM tracking and pipeline reporting., • Continuously refine messaging, outreach strategies, and qualification criteria to improve conversion rates. Skills and Qualifications • Strong interest in sales, business development, and revenue generation., • Highly motivated by targets, performance, and achieving measurable results., • Excellent communication and persuasion skills., • Comfortable engaging with decision-makers and handling commercial conversations., • Proactive, resilient, and results-driven mindset., • Ability to manage multiple prospects and prioritize effectively., • Eagerness to grow into full-cycle sales responsibilities. Other Characteristics • Bachelor’s degree or higher education (preferred, not mandatory)., • 1–2 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, SDR/BDR, or similar roles., • Based in Madrid., • High level of Spanish and strong command of English (spoken and written)., • Experience in outbound sales and lead generation is highly valued., • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools., • Previous exposure to tech, SaaS, startups, or scale-ups is a plus., • Strong organizational and time management skills., • Ability to work independently and as part of a commercial team., • And of course, a great sense of humor!
