You will be part of an experienced and multidisciplinary team and work on a wide range of projects in different countries. Your skills and motivation will make you a key person for the growth of the company. Your role You will be working in our PV technical department in our Rennes office and will deliver the following services for project developers, banks, investors and operators: • Feasibility studies using Geographical Information Systems (GIS): analysis of the applicable constraints, definition of the potential project layout, preliminary energy production estimate and potential optimisations;, • PV project design using AutoCAD and PVcase: Equipment selection (modules, inverters), production of a preliminary layout design, project optimisation (tilt parameters, inter-table spacing, etc;, • Bankable energy yield assessment for projects under development or to be built: analysis of PV data measured on site, modelling in PVsyst and internal tools, calculation of losses and associated uncertainties;, • Operational energy yield assessment for existing projects for refinancing or sale/acquisition: analysis of monthly ENEDIS data, long-term irradiation and estimation of future production losses, as well as associated uncertainties;, • Analysis of PV plant data during their test on completion, during the acceptance phase (end of project construction);, • Performance analysis of existing PV plant based on ENEDIS data and operation and maintenance report;, • Photovoltaic plant inspection;, • Development and improvement of internal tools;, • Quality Assurance of internal assessments and reports (review process). Depending on the company's activity and you mindset, you may also participate in other projects (business development, technology watch, ESG issues, etc.). Technical and soft skills required • Passionate about Renewable Energy;, • MEng Engineering degree, or similar (civil, mechanical or electrical preferably);, • Technical experience in PV energy assessment (ideally you have already worked with PVsyst);, • At least 1 years of experience in a similar role, for a project developer, operator or technical consultancy;, • Able to write and explain reports in English or French;, • Programming (Python) and datamining skills would be a bonus;, • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel;, • Curiosity and proactivity;, • Developed team spirit;, • Very comfortable/fluent in French and English; Syneria’s Benefits • A competitive salary related to your experience;, • Lunch vouchers (13€/day, 50% covered by Syneria);, • Employer's health insurance (100% covered by Syneria);, • Public transport travel card (100% covered by Syneria);, • Annual profit share scheme;, • Remote work possible (2 days/week);, • Possibility to work from other Syneria’s offices from time to time.
