Head Pizza Chef

Franco Manca, the Neapolitan sourdough pizza restaurant situated a stone’s throw from Edinburgh Waverly train station and prime location on South St Andrew Street is looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our team in Edinburgh. This is a full time, permanent position.
We are seeking:
• A team player with a positive attitude and enthusiastic in all thing’s Neapolitan pizza
• A proven track record gained in a busy restaurant environment, ideally minimum 12months managing or leading a team in a similar environment
• Experience in Neapolitan pizza is essential
• Someone who takes pride in their work serving food to the highest standards
The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge:
• Stock rotation
• Ordering
• Excellent communication skills
• Capable of working under pressure
• Lead by example
• Hard working and Committed
• Understanding of Labour and Stocks results - training provided
• Experience working with a Wood-fired oven
• Maintain high H&S and Food hygiene standards
