Investment Administrator Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Salary: Up to £32,500 + excellent benefits Working pattern: Full-time, office-based during probation (6 months), then hybrid (2 days WFH per week) The Opportunity • An established and highly respected UK wealth management firm is looking to recruit an Investment Administrator to support Investment Managers within their Portfolio Management function., • This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in financial services administration who is looking to develop their career within investment management, working in a professional, collaborative, and client-focused environment. The Role • Reporting into senior members of the investment support team, you will provide high-quality administrative support to Investment Managers, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and positive client outcomes, while working within a regulated and compliance-led framework. Key Responsibilities • Providing comprehensive administrative support to Investment Managers and wider portfolio management teams, • Opening and closing client accounts and maintaining accurate client records, • Processing stock transfers, payments, and other account-related transactions, • Updating client and account data on internal systems, • Producing reports using Excel and internal data sources, • Supporting the preparation of client meetings, reviews, and presentations, • Arranging client meetings and drafting correspondence and file notes, • Assisting with ad-hoc projects and ongoing process improvements, • Ensuring all work is completed in line with regulatory and compliance requirements, • Building strong internal and external relationships through accurate and timely support Skills & Experience Required • Previous experience in an investment administration / wealth management / financial services role, • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, • Confident user of Microsoft Word and Excel, • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, • Professional communication skills and a client-focused approach, • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team, • Understanding of working in a regulated environment (FCA awareness desirable) What’s on Offer • Salary up to £32,500 (dependent on experience), • Excellent benefits package, • Structured onboarding and training, • Clear opportunity for development within investment management, • Hybrid working after successful completion of probation, • Supportive, professional, and high-quality working environment
