Senior Accounts Admin, Up to £35,000, Permanent Benefits • Competitive salary of £30,000 – £35,000, • Early finish every Friday, • Supportive and professional working environment, • Opportunity to work within a growing and fast-paced sector, • Varied role with exposure to project finance and commercial operations, • Long-term career development opportunities Responsibilities • Raise purchase orders and accurately process supplier and project invoices, • Manage subcontractor applications, valuations, retentions, and payment support, • Complete supplier statement reconciliations and resolve invoice queries, • Support payment runs, credit card processing, and month-end finance tasks, • Monitor finance and applications mailboxes, ensuring timely responses to queries, • Maintain accurate digital records, approvals, and audit trails, • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, project managers, and senior management, • Assist with improving finance processes, controls, and workflow efficiency, • Provide guidance and support to junior finance or accounts colleagues where required Requirements • Previous experience in accounts administration, purchase ledger, or finance administration, • Experience within construction, engineering, or building services is highly desirable, • Strong understanding of invoice matching, reconciliations, and payment processes, • Experience handling subcontractor applications, project invoicing, or labour costing, • Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel; Construction Manager experience advantageous, • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills, • Ability to prioritise workload, follow approvals, and resolve discrepancies effectively
