Sales & Customer Operations Administrator Salary: £26,000–£28,000 Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday–Friday) Location: West Leeds Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time About the Company A well-established UK business with a strong market presence and long-standing customer relationships is looking to strengthen its commercial operations team. This role plays a critical part in delivering a professional, reliable service to key customers. The Role This is a customer-facing, commercially focused role where you will take ownership of sales orders and act as a key link between customers and internal teams. You’ll be responsible for managing customer expectations, ensuring order accuracy, and keeping the sales process running smoothly from enquiry through to delivery. This role suits someone who enjoys responsibility, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced business environment. Key Responsibilities • Own and manage customer orders from initial enquiry through to fulfilment, • Act as a primary point of contact for customers, handling queries around pricing, availability, and delivery, • Liaise closely with warehouse, logistics, finance, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order processing, • Monitor order progress and proactively manage any issues or delays, • Maintain accurate records, contracts, and order documentation, • Support the preparation of quotes, proposals, and customer presentations, • Manage CRM data to ensure accurate customer and order information, • Support sales forecasting and reporting, • Contribute ideas to improve processes and customer experience Skills & Experience • Experience in a customer service, sales support, order management, or operations role, • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple orders at once, • Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with customers and internal stakeholders, • Organised, proactive, and able to take ownership of tasks, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, • IT literate (Microsoft Office; CRM systems advantageous) Why Apply? • A role with real responsibility and ownership, • Exposure to key customers and commercial operations, • Stable business with long-term career opportunities, • Supportive team environment with flexibility
