As Commercial Strategy Manager you will lead the development, delivery, and execution of our Commercial Innovation Strategy. You will manage a talented team dedicated to driving decarbonisation, de-pollution, and resource-efficiency initiatives across the organisation. Client Details Our client are a well known organisation operating within the business services industry, providing comprehensive facilities management solutions. Looking to add a Commercial Strategy Manager to their Midlands Business Unit. The company is committed to delivering high-quality services and innovative strategies to its clients. Description Acting as a senior strategic advisor, you will collaborate with operational leaders and partner with stakeholders at C-suite level to challenge traditional thinking, stimulate debate, and unlock sustainable value creation. You will also act as a cross-functional innovation lead, strengthening customer relationships and positively shifting market perceptions. Key Responsibilities • Lead and mentor high-performing teams across strategy and innovation (3-8 direct reports), • Drive commercial innovation across the business using creative, disruptive, and future-focused thinking, • Manage major strategic projects and ensure alignment with the wider commercial strategy, • Build trusted partnerships with customers and senior leaders, • Identify commercial and environmental innovation opportunities, creating new value propositions, • Support Net Zero and decarbonisation initiatives for both the organisation and customers, • Develop sustainability-led commercial offerings, • Collaborate with academic and research partners to advance insight and capability, • Champion our organisational values and mission across the industry Profile The ideal candidate for this role will have: • Experienced leader within the waste, environmental, or related sectors, • Proven track record managing cross-functional, high-performing teams, • Strong strategic thinker with the ability to embed and execute long-term plans, • Influential communicator with experience engaging senior leadership, • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, • High commercial acumen and the ability to work autonomously, • Excellent analytical skills and long-term strategic insight, • Strong understanding of ecological transformation, • IOSH Managing Safely certification, • Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification or equivalent experience, • Relevant degree, • Knowledge of PRINCE2 or similar project management methodologies, • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methods Job Offer • Competitive salary, car allowance and comprehensive package., • Permanent position offering job stability and growth opportunities., • Opportunity to work within a respected organisation in the business services sector.
