Oracle Middleware Engineer (Oracle WebLogic SOA Suite, IBM APIC & DataPower) Role Summary Responsible for the operation, support, and enhancement of legacy enterprise middleware platforms, primarily based on Oracle WebLogic SOA Suite and IBM API technologies, supporting mission-critical integrations and APIs. Core Technology Stack • Oracle Middleware, • Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.6 / 12c, • Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, OSB, JMS), • Oracle API Security Gateway, • IBM Middleware, • IBM API Connect (APIC), • IBM DataPower API Gateway (AG), • Application Servers, • WebLogic, Tomcat, • Integration Patterns, • SOA, ESB, JMS, XML, SOAP, REST Key Responsibilities • Administer and support Oracle WebLogic and SOA Suite environments, • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot SOA composites, services, and integrations, • Support IBM API Connect platforms, API lifecycles, and governance, • Configure and maintain IBM DataPower API Gateway:, • Security policies, • Routing, transformation, SSL/TLS, • Perform incident resolution, RCA, and problem management, • Manage patching, upgrades, and environment stability, • Coordinate with vendors (Oracle / IBM) for complex issues, • Maintain legacy API and integration platforms while supporting transformation initiatives, • Participate in 24x7 on-call support Required Technical Skills • Oracle Middleware, • WebLogic 10.3.6 / 12c, • SOA Suite, OSB, JMS, • IBM API Platforms, • IBM API Connect (APIC), • IBM DataPower API Gateway (AG), • Integration Technologies, • SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, • SSL certificates, security policies, • Application Infrastructure, • Apache, Oracle HTTP Server, • Operating Systems, • Linux, UNIX (Solaris exposure desirable) Common Mandatory Skills • SQL, • Oracle databases, performance and troubleshooting queries, • Linux, • Scripting, process analysis, log review, • Monitoring & Observability, • Dynatrace, Splunk, Elastic stack, • ITIL, • Incident, Change, Problem, Release Management, • Service Management tools, • Remedy or equivalent, • Jira, Confluence, Knowledge Base authoring
