EPC Project Manager – Overview We are working with one of the UK’s leading technical and energy services providers who specialise in major decarbonisation and net zero solution projects within the commercial and public sector. They deliver decarbonisation and Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) projects up to £30million and above in value for sites such as Hospitals, Universities, Museums and many other complex live environments. They have a talented workforce of over 5,000 people and can offer development, progression and role with true autonomy. They are currently looking for a Project Manager to come on board covering their portfolio of Projects in the North West Region, between Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Energy Performance Contracts (EPC) across entire lifecycle covering Investment Grade Audit (IGA), design, construction and measurement and verification (M&V). You will be responsible for: • Owning the customer journey from development opportunity right through to technical delivery, • Acting as the single point of contact with major clients., • You will own the project budget and P&L at each stage of the project, • Ensuring programme milestones are achieved and much more., • Ensure internal governance is followed and the necessary approvals received before cost or savings commitments made with a client or third party., • Ensure the technical solution and energy savings can be achieved without detriment to Dalkia Energy Services’ guarantee., • Selection and appointment of external consultants and managing and monitoring their performance., • Ensuring project procurement follows the company protocol. You will be supported by a multi-disciplinary team at the various stages of the process including Energy Engineers, M&E Designers, Construction Managers and M&V Analysts. EPC Project Manager – Requirements • Comprehensive understanding of energy and carbon reduction across large commercial and industrial sites including healthcare, • A sound understanding of M&E engineering designs., • Experience working with major Plant: Boilers, Chillers, Pressure vessels, Air Handling Plant, Steam and Water systems, Motors, BMS, LV systems, CHP, Renewable Power, • Working on live operational sites, often with critical engineering systems where retention of resilience is required.
