Location: Milton Keynes Salary: 16.64 per hour, increasing with experience Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Hours: 40 hours per week We are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join an established business within the powered access and MEWP industry. This is a hands-on role working on prototype and development machines, assembling mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components and helping bring new products from design through to working machines. • Assemble prototype and development machines., • Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical assembly., • Work from engineering drawings and technical instructions., • Use hand and power tools to complete assembly work., • Identify and resolve build issues., • Support engineers with new product development and design changes., • Provide practical feedback to improve products., • Assist with testing and development of new equipment., • Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop. We are looking for someone with: • Previous experience in mechanical assembly, engineering or manufacturing., • A relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship is preferred., • Practical experience with mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems., • Ability to read engineering drawings., • Confident use of hand and power tools., • Good practical problem-solving skills., • Strong attention to detail., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
