Drainage Engineer Location: Glasgow & surrounding areas Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 (DOE) Hours of work: Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend and the option of overtime. The Role: In this role you will predominately be site-based working across the UK, completing drainage investigations and making recommendations for repairs. Exceptional problem-solving skills are essential. You must be experienced in High Pressure Water Jetting clearance of below ground blockages and the skills to trouble shot problematic drainage systems including completing detailed CCTV investigation reports. Excellent customer service skills, being able to confidently speak to customers to explain the work you are competing leaving them with a great experience. Experience Required: • Use of CCTV surveying equipment, generating detailed Reports to WRC Defect Grading & Guidelines., • Use of CAT/GENIE and Sonar tracing equipment in order to identify buried services and to trace/locate & map out drainage system., • Reinstatement of various different domestic surface types i.e. paving slabs, block paving, etc., • Outstanding customer care, • Proven problem-solving skills, • Full driving licence, • Trained Engineers & Certificated an advantage but not essential., • Attractive salary, • Career progression - we are growing fast, • Provided with a brand new, fully equipped work van & fuel card., • Regular training delivered - Training site is based in the North West. What to expect: As a Multi Skill engineer based in the CCEP largest GB warehouse, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the automated storage retrieval systems, including: maintenance, repairs, and attending to breakdowns. You will work as one of four shift-based teams of three engineers, that collective provide 24/7 operational cover, overseen by the Distribution Reliability Manager. Your core responsibilities within the ASRS: Safety: * Operate within the Company Health and Safety management system * Collaboration with team of site and centrally base H&S representatives. * Responsible for critical inspections and defect reporting. * Ensure the safe maintenance and repair of both ASRS and individual equipment. * Uphold a safe system of work, adhering to SOP’s e.g lockout tagout procedures. * As part of the role, you will be trained as a member of the site emergency team, this includes engaging in rescue work at height and duties of a first aider. Operation: * You will be expected to oversee the execution of an advanced maintenance plan while ensuring that direct and indirect KBIs are met. * Perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on both electrical and mechanical systems (20/80 elec/mech) to guarantee that the warehouse's various components continue to function as intended. * You will complete a site based electrical competency assessment and area familiarization before commencing work. * Make efficient use of our Central Maintenance Management System * Collaborate with a network of local and external engineering teams. * Promote operational excellence by sharing best practices * Innovate and enhance current systems and procedures. * Providing technical assistance for product/equipment adjustments.
