We are currently looking to recruit an Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer to form part of our Mobile team. Essential duties & responsibilities • Design & installation, after care service and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems carrying out the service and maintenance of a multitude of equipment ranging from commercial equipment including cold rooms, ice machines, VRV & VRF Indoor and Outdoor Units, Heat Recovery Units, leak testing systems etc., • Maintenance, repairs and all general Air Conditioning duties, including being able to assist with mechanical & plumbing works if required on site., • Experience in Air Source Heat Pumps would be desirable and additional training on this can be provided., • Health and safety awareness., • Knowledge and experience of all air conditioning and electrical plant including, but not limited to Air Handling Units and their associated controls, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler plant (excluding gas side pipe work and accessories), • Knowledge and experience of BMS control systems., • Knowledge and experience of all air conditioning and HVAC installations, including issuing written compliance paperwork., • To maintain on site log books, permits & site paperwork insuring they are completed and up to date., • Must be competent in working on CAFM system and using tablet for logging on to jobs and completing compliance paperwork., • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience., • City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum) City & Guilds Level 3 in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning (preferred) F-Gas Certificate (C&G 2079 or CITB J11)

The role involves working across multiple locations throughout Glasgow and the wider Central Belt. Key Responsibilities: Working closely with the technical team, schedulers, and contract administrators to efficiently deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and remedial water hygiene/treatment works. Carrying out temperature monitoring, showerhead descaling, cold water storage tank inspections and cleans. Completing cooling tower cleaning and disinfection works. Servicing Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs). Conducting water sampling and analysis. Performing LTHW system testing and analysis. Dosing systems with inhibitor and biocide chemicals. Undertaking cooling system testing and analysis. Completing steam boiler testing and analysis. Servicing water softeners and associated equipment. Carrying out plumbing remedial works as required.
