This setting supports pupils aged 3–19 with a wide range of needs including Autism (ASC), PMLD, and MLD. About the Role As a Complex Needs Support Officer, you will support children and young people with a variety of additional learning needs. Your responsibilities may include: • Providing 1:1 SEN support for pupils with complex or high-level needs, • Delivering group support or whole-class support, depending on the age group, • Supporting pupils with communication, sensory needs and emotional regulation, • Assisting with behaviour support strategies, • Helping maintain a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment, • Proactive, supportive and able to use their initiative, • Passionate about working with children and young people with ALN/SEN, • Experienced in supporting pupils with ASC, PMLD, MLD or behavioural needs, • Sporty or athletic, with great energy and resilience, • Patient, nurturing and committed to helping learners achieve, • A dedicated consultant who provides ongoing support and guidance, • The Teaching Personnel app for managing your diary, timesheets and communication, • FREE CPD training, including:, • THRIVE approach training, • Behaviour management courses, • SEN-focused learning modules, • Opportunity to complete Team Teach Level 2 at a highly discounted rate (subject to availability), • Weekly pay and competitive daily rates, • Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply), • EWC registration (or willingness to register), • Experience in SEN, ALN, care, health & social care, or a sporty/active background Click “Apply Now” to submit your CV and join Teaching Personnel.
