Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will be full time position, working out of our site near Cheltenham. Candidate profile: In this role, you will be responsible for the on-site deployment and installation of IT hardware, ensuring infrastructure is delivered to the highest standards. You will manage structured cabling, conduct compliance testing, and work closely with engineering teams to verify connectivity and readiness before handover. Your attention to detail and ability to adapt in live environments will be key to successful project outcomes. You will also be trusted to take ownership of build documentation, schedules, and compliance reporting, ensuring installations are accurate, timely, and fully aligned with client requirements. Collaboration will be central to your role, working alongside colleagues across multiple disciplines to achieve seamless integration and operational success. Key responsibilities: ? Deploy & install IT hardware including servers, network switches, routers, storage arrays, and PDUs. ? Deliver & maintain structured cabling for network, fibre, and power with full compliance and labelling. ? Test & certify equipment through Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and document results. ? Execute & follow build documentation and deployment schedules with precision. ? Collaborate & coordinate with engineering teams to confirm connectivity, power, and readiness. ? Comply & adhere to client site protocols and security clearance requirements. Required qualifications to be successful in this role To succeed in this role, you should bring technical expertise in hardware installation and structured cabling, with experience in working within live and secure client environments. You will need to be organised, detail-oriented, and confident in collaborating with engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes. Essential qualifications: ? Proven experience in IT hardware installation and deployment at client sites. ? Strong knowledge of structured cabling for network, fibre, and power ? Ability to perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and document results accurately. ? Experience working with build documentation and deployment schedules. ? Excellent collaboration and communication skills in technical team environments. ? Eligibility to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance. #LI-SB2
