    Dart Security Services Job Overview Dart Security Services is seeking an experienced, ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of our security services business. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, developing strategic partnerships and securing new contracts across the security sector. This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial awareness, excellent networking skills and previous experience within the security, facilities management or related service industry. Key Responsibilities • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the security services sector., • Generate new leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, tender opportunities and industry events., • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients., • Prepare professional proposals, quotations, presentations and tender submissions., • Manage the complete business development process from initial contact through negotiation and contract award., • Develop and implement strategies to increase company revenue and expand the client portfolio., • Negotiate pricing, service agreements and commercial terms with prospective clients., • Maintain an accurate pipeline of leads, prospects and opportunities using CRM or company systems., • Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity, industry trends and potential growth areas., • Represent Dart Security Services at client meetings, networking events, exhibitions and industry functions., • Work closely with operations and management teams to ensure new contracts can be delivered effectively., • Support client retention, account growth, upselling and cross-selling opportunities., • Prepare regular business development reports, forecasts and updates for senior management., • Develop relationships with decision-makers including property managers, facilities managers, construction companies, retailers, corporate clients and other organisations requiring security services., • Identify tender opportunities and assist with bids for security guarding and related service contracts. Key Requirements • Proven experience in business development, sales or account management., • Previous experience within the security industry, facilities management industry or a closely related sector is highly desirable., • Strong knowledge of security services and the commercial security market., • Excellent PR, networking and relationship-building skills., • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills., • Ability to generate leads and convert opportunities into profitable contracts., • Commercially focused with a strong understanding of pricing, margins and contract negotiations., • Confident dealing with senior decision-makers and corporate clients., • Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven., • Strong organisational and time-management skills., • Ability to work independently while collaborating with operational and management teams., • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems., • Full UK driving licence may be advantageous where client travel is required. Preferred Industry Experience Experience working with or selling services such as: • Security guarding, • Mobile patrols, • Keyholding and alarm response, • Retail security, • Corporate security, • Construction site security, • Concierge and front-of-house security, • Event security, • Facilities management services Working Pattern Full-time, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility may be required for client meetings, networking events, site visits or business appointments outside normal working hours. Salary Competitive salary, depending on experience.
