BIAB / Gel Nail Technician

Job Title: Nail Technician – Gel/BIAB Manicure & Pedicure Specialist Location: Swanley Job Type: Part-time Salary: £12/hour We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician with expertise in Gel Polish and Builder in a Bottle (BIAB) applications for manicures and pedicures. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality nail services, exceptional client care, and maintaining high hygiene standards. You should be up-to-date with current trends, professional, and enthusiastic about helping clients feel confident and pampered. Key Responsibilities: Perform BIAB manicures, gel polish manicures, and gel pedicures to a high standard Shape, file, and prep nails, ensuring healthy nail care and cuticle treatment Provide hand and foot massages during treatments as required Apply and remove gel/BIAB safely using proper techniques and tools Offer nail art or custom finishes (if applicable) Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and treatment areas Manage appointment schedules professionally and punctually Recommend aftercare products and promote other salon/spa services Stay updated on nail trends, new products, and techniques Build positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business Requirements: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Nail Technology or equivalent qualification Proven experience with BIAB and gel polish application Strong knowledge of nail health, hygiene standards, and infection control Excellent attention to detail and artistic skills Good communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and a team player Flexibility to work evenings/weekends if required Preferred: Experience with nail art or advanced nail techniques Existing client base (a bonus, not a requirement) Benefits: Discounted or free treatments Supportive team environment Training opportunities and product discounts
