SEN Teacher – Maths & Science Location: Hinckley Salary: £32,916 – £45,352 (M1–M6, depending on experience) Contract: Permanent, Term Time, 40 hours per week Start: September Inspire. Support. Transform. We are currently seeking a compassionate, creative and committed SEN Teacher to join a specialist education team based in Hinckley. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver a truly personalised learning experience for children and young people aged 7–19 who benefit from a multisensory, holistic approach to education. The Role You will teach Maths and Science to small groups and on a 1:1 basis, delivering an engaging curriculum for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 learners. Working closely with senior teaching staff, you'll design creative, individualised learning programmes that support each young person's needs, interests and goals. Your work will focus on academic progress, emotional development and social confidence, ensuring every learner feels safe, supported and included. Key Responsibilities Planning, delivering and reviewing personalised learning programmes Creating engaging, multisensory lessons tailored to diverse needs Supporting learners to take an active role in their education Contributing to learner profiles, SEN information, assessments and progress reports Supporting curriculum development within Maths and Science Maintaining accurate records, including EHCP and transition documentation Committing to ongoing professional development and best practice in SEN What We're Looking For A passionate teacher committed to learner-centred SEN practice Someone who thrives in a creative, flexible environment A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with learners and families A reflective practitioner keen to grow and contribute to curriculum improvement Skills & Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching Maths or Science (or willingness to develop in these areas) SEN teaching experience is desirable A relevant Level 6 qualification Why Join Us?
