Join Our Team as a Children's Home Registered Manager!\n\n Location: Nottingham \n Contract Type: Full-time, permanent \n Specific Hours: 39 hours per week \n Salary: Up to £62,200 (includes Ofsted and Occupancy bonuses) \n\n At Dove Adolescent Services, we are dedicated to empowering young people in our care to build emotional resilience and reach their full potential. Our homes are built on the foundation of fostering meaningful relationships, guiding young individuals through their transitions into adulthood. \n\n We are excited to invite a passionate Children's Home Registered Manager to lead our brand new 4-bed home in Nottingham! \n\nMain Purpose of the Job\n As the Registered Manager, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day operations of the home. Your leadership will ensure that we deliver exceptional care, uphold the rights of young people, and adhere to our organizational policies and procedures. \n\nYour Responsibilities\n Service and Practice Management: \n\n • Develop and deliver high-quality care in line with relevant legislation and organizational guidelines.\n, • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and provide staff with necessary training.\n, • Maintain accurate records for both young people and employees, implementing effective monitoring systems.\n, • Collect and report management information as required.\n, • Innovate childcare techniques and contribute positively to the organization’s ethos.\n, • Chair various internal and external meetings.\n, • Take on-call responsibilities and cover shifts as needed.\n, • Write concise reports and oversee all written communications.\n, • Manage admissions and discharges effectively.\n, • Lead with vision and innovation in line with our organizational values.\n, • Participate in the recruitment process, ensuring all checks are completed.\n, • Oversee staff induction, supervision, and appraisal processes.\n, • Support continuous professional development and ensure mandatory training is met.\n, • Manage staff rotas and monthly expenses.\n, • Monitor the service budget and ensure financial targets are met.\n, • Promote the organization positively with external agencies and the public.\n, • Liaise with commissioners regarding admissions.\n, • Lead psychotherapy leadership and management forums.\n\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n, • Enthusiasm for providing top-notch care and education.\n, • Experience in team management.\n, • Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.\n, • Familiarity with the needs of vulnerable individuals.\n, • Ability to maintain emotional resilience in challenging situations.\n, • Respect for boundaries and authority.\n, • Confidentiality and commitment to equal opportunities.\n, • Current UK driving license and access to appropriate transport.\n, • Flexibility and reliability.\n, • Willingness to contribute to the development of policies and procedures.\n\n\nWhy Join Us?\n\n, • 25 days of annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays.\n, • \n£3000 Bonus for an Outstanding Ofsted Report.\n, • \nFull Occupancy Bonus: £600 a month.\n, • On-call payments: £25 on weekdays, £35 on weekends.\n, • 39 hours full-time, with sleep-in duties as per the home’s rota.\n, • Some office days for administrative duties.\n, • Petrol allowance for using your own car (proof of business insurance required).\n
