We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. Private networks- We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. What will you be doing? We are seeking an experienced PE or LCE to support the National Grid OPTEL Gen 3 replacement programme. Working within the National Grid account, you will provide technical assurance across Critical National Infrastructure projects throughout delivery. Supporting the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager, you will scope, plan, implement, and deliver technical projects of varying scale, complexity, and technologies. You will strategically plan installation and commissioning activities, working closely with field, project, and network operations teams. The role also includes representing the technical function in customer meetings, supporting resolution of critical faults, and producing high-quality project documentation. Review drawings, specifications and standards to identify risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, supporting planning and sequencing of works. Produce accurate Bills of Materials, including consumables, and monitor progress to identify risks and drive recovery actions. Develop and maintain ITPs, quality checklists and as-built documentation, conducting site inspections and audits to ensure compliance. Ensure adherence to client, regulatory and HSE requirements, liaising with stakeholders, providing technical input, and supporting acceptance into live service. What youll bring? Strong networking background in circuit delivery, equipment ordering, and service and solution delivery. Basic understanding of CWDM, DWDM, SDH, Carrier Ethernet, MPLS-TP, SYNC, OTDR, telecoms DC power, fibre installation, and multi-protocol testing. Proactive in managing project tasks and issues, with strong Microsoft Office skills. Detail-oriented, accurate, and thorough with documentation. SC clearance required, alongside National Grid competent person supervisor course. Desirable: experience in Critical National Infrastructure and technical governance or design assurance roles.
