Business Development Manager\n\nNG15, Nottingham \n\nMonday – Friday 9am – 5pm \n\n£30,000 - £37,000 + Bonus \n\nJob Purpose \n\nThe purpose of this role is to grow the organisation’s healthcare agency and community care services by identifying and securing new business opportunities across the health and social care sector. The role will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, develops referral pathways and converts opportunities into new contracts.\n\nWorking closely with Recruitment, Operations and Compliance teams, the role ensures services are delivered safely, effectively and in line with client needs. The role is responsible for supporting business growth, meeting revenue targets and maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and safeguarding.\n\nJob Duties \n\nTo generate and secure new business opportunities across the UK health and social care market\n\t\nDevelop contracts and referral pathways for community care and healthcare staffing services\n\t\nBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including case managers, deputies, commissioners, local authorities, hospitals and providers\n\t\nManage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to proposal, negotiation and contract award\n\t\nMaintain CRM records, pipeline reporting and sales forecasts\n\t\nSupport bids and tenders, including responses, pricing and mobilisation planning\n\t\nIdentify client needs and deliver compliant solutions aligned with service capacity\n\t\nWork with Recruitment, Operations and Compliance teams to meet client demand, onboard clients and maintain service quality\n\t\nMonitor market trends and competitor activity to support growth and promote services through campaigns and events\n\t\nDeliver revenue targets while ensuring compliance with regulations, safeguarding, confidentiality and governance standards\n\t\nFollow pricing, contracting and credit control processes and support invoice resolution\n\t\nMaintain accurate client records and promote quality, safety, equality, diversity and inclusion\n\nKey Skills Required \n\nStrong knowledge of health and social care (commissioning, providers, compliance, staffing models)\n\t\nExcellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder relationship skills\n\t\nCommercially aware with strong attention to detail \n\t\nTarget driven, resilient and able to manage competing priorities independently\n\t\nCollaborative, customer-focused and professionally presented\n\t\nValues led, ethical, and committed to safeguarding and high-quality care\n\nEMA25
