Perform detailed inspections and quality checks on operational procedures, outputs, and documentation 2. Record, report, and analyse quality data and metrics to identify trends and potential areas for improvement 4. Collaborate with project and service delivery teams to identify root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective/preventive actions 5. Maintain and update quality control documentation, including checklists, reports, and compliance logs 6. Assist in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits 7. Participate in quality training and contribute to the development of best practices within the company 8. Support continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of the business **Candidate Requirements:** 1. Proven experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role (minimum 1-2 years preferred) 2. Familiarity with quality management systems, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma principles, or industry-specific QA practices) 3. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and analytical thinking 4. Strong problem-solving ability and capability to work with cross-functional teams 5. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and quality-related software or tools 6. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal 7. Tasks required by this job include: · Prepare digital files for printing using software like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop. · Perform colour correction, proofing, and platemaking for offset printing. · Ensure files meet print specifications (bleed, resolution, etc.). · Operate and maintain digital and offset printing presses (e.g., Xerox, Heidelberg, HP Indigo). · Monitor print quality, adjust ink levels, and troubleshoot mechanical issues. · Follow job orders to ensure correct paper stock, colours, and quantities. Requirements: · Perform cutting, folding, stapling, laminating, and binding (saddle stitch, perfect binding, etc.). · Operate finishing equipment (guillotine cutters, collators, etc.).it is essential that you have great self-management abilities. · Inspect printed materials for defects and ensure consistency. · Maintain colour accuracy and alignment standards. · Clean and perform routine maintenance on printers and finishing machines. · Report major malfunctions to supervisors. · Monitor ink, paper, and other supply levels. · Assist with ordering materials as needed. · Follow workplace safety protocols (handling chemicals, operating machinery). · Adhere to copyright and confidentiality policies for sensitive materials.
