What youll be doing: • Leading the design development and delivery of regular and ad-hoc insights to inform operating strategy and execution priorities across the COO function, • Partnering with senior stakeholders to assess current operating performance identifying opportunities for improvement and evaluating investment cases, • Translating complex data and analysis into clear actionable recommendations for the COO and leadership team, • Building frameworks dashboards and reporting mechanisms to continuously monitor performance against target operating model objectives, • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g. Finance Technology Risk and Operations) to ensure alignment and delivery of strategic priorities ensuring line of sight from insight through to delivery, • Developing data-driven business cases to support operating efficiency initiatives technology transformation and operating model design, • Taking the lead in all matters with regard to the management of employees ensuring that management discretion is used in a consistent manner and that the area follows the Groups policies and procedures including the Partnership Agreement to maximise business performance, • Ensuring that appropriate prioritising planning resourcing and contingency for customer issues are integrated into programme and resource plans so they are central to delivery and aligned to Legal & Generals commitment to put customers at the centre of our business and deliver good customer outcomes Qualifications : Who were looking for: • Educated to degree level desirable but not essential with relevant experience in financial services and/or similar regulated fields, • Proven experience (7 years) in strategy insights or business analysis within insurance financial services or a related industry, • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and synthesise insights, • Track record of influencing and partnering with senior executives to drive strategic decision-making, • Knowledge of operating models process improvement and operational transformation programmes, • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to distil complexity into executive-level insights, • Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, • Advanced proficiency in data visualisation and analytical tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Excel), • The opportunity to participate in our annual performance -related bonus plan and valuable share schemes, • Generous pension contribution, • Life assurance, • Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only), • At least 25 days holiday plus public holidays 26 days after 2 years service.
