Senior Horticultural Technician - Interior Soft Landscaping\n\n£35,000-£36,000 DOE | Full‑Time | Permanent\n Central Scotland & Northern Ireland (Field‑Based)\n\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Horticultural Technician to join a well‑established, fast‑growing interior landscaping business delivering high‑quality plant maintenance services across Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Belfast.\n\nThis is a senior, client‑facing maintenance role for a knowledgeable and professional horticulturist who takes pride in exceptional plant care and customer service. Alongside maintaining a portfolio of key client sites, you'll support and mentor a small group of local Technicians, acting as a technical point of reference and helping to drive consistently high service standards.\n\nYou'll work independently across multiple locations, building long‑term client relationships while playing an important role within the wider regional team.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nMaintain high‑quality interior and exterior planting displays across multiple client sites\nEnsure all displays meet agreed technical and presentation standards\nDiagnose plant health issues and implement appropriate treatments and solutions\nDeliver excellent customer service, acting as a trusted point of contact for clients\nComplete site reports and maintain accurate records using company systems\nSupport and guide a small group of local Technicians, sharing knowledge and best practice\nWork closely with Team Leaders and Managers to ensure efficient route planning and service delivery\nChampion health & safety, following all risk assessments and method statements\nTravel regularly between Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Belfast, including occasional flights\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nA minimum of 2+ years' experience in a field‑based horticultural maintenance or technician role\nStrong horticultural knowledge with a focus on plant health, presentation, and long‑term care\nProven experience delivering high‑quality customer service in a client‑facing environment\nConfident communication skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues\nA proactive, problem‑solving mindset and strong attention to detail\nComfortable working independently across multiple sites and cities\nWillingness to travel and manage a varied, mobile workload\nPhysically capable of carrying out maintenance tasks, including the use of watering cans, stepladders, and stools\nProfessional, reliable, and well‑organised\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\n£35,000-£36,000 DOE\nPermanent, full‑time position\nQuarterly company bonus and annual performance‑related bonus (post‑probation)\n25 days holiday plus UK bank holidays\nBUPA Cash Plan\nLunch allowance\nOngoing Learning & Development\nOpportunity to take on a senior, influential role within a growing interior landscaping businessThis is a field‑based role covering major UK cities and requires flexibility with travel and working hours.\n\nIf you're an experienced horticultural professional who enjoys responsibility, client interaction, and supporting others while delivering exceptional plant care, I'd be happy to discuss this opportunity further.\n\nFor more information, please contact Stanley at MorePeople on (phone number removed) or email (url removed)
