The right clinic can accelerate your career by years. The wrong one can leave you doing exactly the same thing, day in, day out, wondering why everyone else seems to be progressing whilst you're standing still. That's why we were genuinely excited when we spoke to our client. They aren't simply looking for someone to fill appointments. They're looking for someone they can invest in. Someone they can mentor. Someone they can help become one of the clinic's future Senior Practitioners. You won't be expected to arrive knowing everything. In fact, our client would rather recruit someone with the right attitude, genuine curiosity and a willingness to learn than someone who thinks they already know it all. You'll begin by building confidence across general podiatry whilst gradually developing into MSK, biomechanics, sports podiatry, rehabilitation, gait analysis and advanced foot and ankle practice. It's a structured journey, not a case of being thrown in at the deep end. We also love how realistic and flexible our client is. They understand that everyone's career path is different and genuinely want to help people become the best clinicians they can be. If you're ambitious, enjoy learning and want to look back in five years' time and be amazed by how much you've developed, this could be exactly the opportunity you've been waiting for. And let's not forget where you'll be living. Imagine finishing work and being only minutes away from mountains, beaches, forests and some of the most spectacular scenery anywhere in the UK. This role would suit someone who is excited about building a long-term career rather than simply finding their next job. You'll ideally have: • HCPC Registration as a Podiatrist (or be eligible to obtain HCPC registration), • Newly qualified status or up to approximately two years' post-registration experience, • Excellent communication and patient care skills, • A genuine passion for learning, • A positive, friendly and approachable personality, • A willingness to ask questions and develop, • Pride in delivering excellent patient care, • Eligibility to work in the UK, or the ability to meet Skilled Worker sponsorship requirements You do not need experience in advanced MSK, biomechanics or diagnostic ultrasound. That's exactly what you'll be supported to learn. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is: • Curious, • Motivated, • Reliable, • Caring, • Open to feedback, • Excited about becoming an exceptional clinician This opportunity could be perfect if... • You're graduating soon and want the best possible start to your career., • You're newly qualified but feel your current role isn't stretching you., • You'd love a mentor who genuinely enjoys teaching., • You're fascinated by MSK, biomechanics and sports injuries., • You eventually want to become an Advanced or Senior Podiatrist., • You enjoy learning and want funded postgraduate development., • You'd like to work somewhere where you'll be known as a person, not just another employee. You'll begin by managing a varied private podiatry caseload appropriate to your level of experience, including: • General podiatry, • Nail and skin care, • Corn and callus treatment, • Verruca management, • Ingrowing toenail treatment, • Routine foot care, • Patient education, • Footwear advice As your confidence grows, you'll gradually gain exposure to: • MSK podiatry, • Foot and ankle rehabilitation, • Sports injuries, • Biomechanics, • Orthotic assessment and prescription, • Gait assessment, • Shockwave therapy, • Diagnostic MSK ultrasound, • Advanced foot and ankle assessment Rather than expecting you to know everything from day one, our client believes in supporting clinicians to develop safely and confidently at a pace that's right for them. This is a full-time employed position, although flexibility is something our client genuinely values. Ideally, they'd love someone to join around the beginning of 2027, allowing time to plan a structured induction and development programme. However, they appreciate that everyone's circumstances are different. Whether you're graduating slightly later, completing a notice period or relocating to the Highlands, they're happy to explore a start date that works for the right person. Typical clinic hours are: • Monday to Friday: approximately 8:30am / 9:00am until 5:00pm / 5:30pm, • Around one Saturday morning per month, • No routine evening clinics The clinic is centrally located in Inverness with excellent reception support, modern facilities and advanced technology throughout. Driving isn't essential. This is where this opportunity really stands apart. Many graduate roles promise development. Our client has built an entire career pathway around it. You'll receive ongoing mentoring from an experienced clinician with specialist expertise in: • MSK podiatry, • Sports injuries, • Foot and ankle rehabilitation, • Diagnostic MSK ultrasound, • Biomechanics, • Gait analysis You'll also have access to advanced technology including: • Run3D gait analysis, • Diagnostic MSK ultrasound, • Shockwave therapy, • Advanced rehabilitation equipment, • Orthotic assessment technology As your skills develop, you'll be supported with funded postgraduate training and advanced CPD, helping you progress towards becoming one of the clinic's future Senior Practitioners. This isn't about rushing you. It's about giving you every opportunity to become the very best podiatrist you can be. Moving to the Scottish Highlands is a big step, and our client genuinely understands that because they've made that journey themselves. Relocation support is available to help with those first few months, including assistance towards initial accommodation costs while you get settled. If you've been looking for an opportunity to combine outstanding career development with an incredible lifestyle, it's hard to think of many better places to do it.
