The Role As a Junior Product Engineer (NPI), you will support the introduction of new semiconductor products from early-stage development through to full production release. You’ll gain exposure to: • Design for testability and manufacturability, • Product validation and characterisation, • Data analysis and yield optimisation, • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities across design, test, validation, and manufacturing teams, • Contribute to Design for Test (DfT) and Design for Manufacturability (DfM) processes, • Assist with product characterisation, data analysis, and test optimisation, • Perform correlation studies and design of experiments (DOE), • Support failure analysis, root cause investigation, and continuous improvement initiatives, • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product release Distilled Key Criteria • Relevant engineering degree, • Basic electronics / semiconductor understanding, • Some hands-on exposure (lab or data), • Strong attitude + ability to learn fast Key Requirements Education • Bachelor’s degree in:, • Electrical / Electronic Engineering, • Mechanical Engineering, • Industrial Engineering, • Understanding of new product introduction (NPI) processes, • Familiarity with:, • product validation and test plans, • electronics or semiconductor environments, • Exposure to:, • lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators), • data analysis tools (Excel, Python, MATLAB or similar), • Knowledge of CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PCB tools) is advantageous, • Awareness of PLM tools or product lifecycle systems is beneficial Experience • 0–3 years’ experience (including internships or placements) in:, • electronics, • semiconductor, • product development environments, • Experience working on cross-functional engineering projects Soft Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, • Clear communication and collaboration skills, • High attention to detail, • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn Nice to Have • Exposure to semiconductor fabrication, assembly, or test processes, • Knowledge of analog, mixed-signal, or high-speed ICs, • Familiarity with ATE platforms (e.g. Advantest, Teradyne), • Awareness of reliability and qualification standards (e.g. JEDEC), • Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar tools You’ll Gain • Hands-on experience in a high-performance semiconductor environment, • Exposure to the full product lifecycle from concept to production, • Mentorship from experienced engineers, • A collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture, • Clear progression and development opportunities Interview Process • Introductory call (15 minutes), • First-stage video interview (45–60 minutes), • Onsite technical interview with engineering team (approx. 2 hours), • Final interview with senior leadership Apply If you’re a graduate or early-career engineer looking to accelerate your career in semiconductors, electronics, and product engineering, apply now.
