The role of the Quantity Surveyor is to play an active supporting part in the various commercial activities associated with a project and in conformity with company procedures as laid down from time to time. The Project: Is a Grade 1 & 2 listed building that is being transformed into high end residential apartments There will be a total of 42 units across 3 blocks. The project is valued at £92m. The roof will be extended and turn into a penthouse and there will be a gym, spa and swimming people bult underground! Main Responsibilities: • Compliance with and assistance in helping promote the Health and Safety policy., • Provide support to the Project Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor and Managing Quantity Surveyor., • Assistance with the procurement of Sub-Contractors; Consultants and Suppliers., • Contribution to the analysis of Sub-Contractors; Consultants and Suppliers tender returns., • Subject to the prior approval of the Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor and in accordance with company contractual arrangements, authorise payments in respect of interim and final applications for payment from Sub-Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers., • Preparation, co-ordination, and processing labour only payments., • Carry out building work take-offs, measurement and scheduling exercises and preparation of bills of quantities for the procurement and sub-letting processes. Care & Support Worker Edgware Job purpose: To provide personalised care and support services to a diverse range of customers.
