EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO CFO & COO Client | Digital Services Industry Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire | £50,000 to £65,000 per annum | 5 days office-based | Permanent THE OPPORTUNITY We are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected, UK-based digital services business operating within the construction and infrastructure space, supporting organisations to operate safely, compliantly and commercially across the built environment. As the business continues to scale and mature, they are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to support the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. This is a high-impact, senior EA role offering meaningful exposure across the wider C-suite and senior leadership team. The role will suit either an established C-suite Executive Assistant or a high-performing Senior EA who is ready to step into a broader, more complex executive environment. What matters most is capability, judgement, resilience and a genuine appetite to grow alongside the business. THE ROLE This is a trusted right-hand position to two senior executives operating at the commercial and operational core of the organisation. You will bring structure, clarity and momentum to complex and competing priorities, enabling the CFO and COO to operate at pace while ensuring governance, communication and execution remain disciplined and effective. In addition to direct support to the CFO and COO, this role offers regular exposure to the wider C-suite, senior leaders and external stakeholders. You will be involved in leadership forums, executive communications, reporting cycles and decision-making processes, often navigating ambiguity, change and challenge with confidence and professionalism. This is a role for an EA who is comfortable dealing with pressure, differing priorities and evolving business needs, and who takes pride in being a steady, trusted presence in demanding environments. WORKING ENVIRONMENT This is a full-time, five-day-a-week office-based role in a modern, high-tech, open-plan environment. The culture is collaborative, delivery-focused and no-ego, with teams working closely across functions. You will be supporting two highly engaged, approachable leaders who value their EA partnership and see this role as pivotal to pace, clarity and effectiveness at leadership level. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING • Acting as trusted right hand to the CFO and COO, • Supporting leadership meetings, executive forums and senior stakeholder engagement, • Preparing papers, agendas, actions and follow-up for leadership and governance meetings, • Managing corporate calendars, reporting cycles and critical deadlines, • Tracking KPIs and supporting commercial and operational reporting, • Working closely with the wider C-suite and senior leadership team, • Supporting HR processes including onboarding and recruitment coordination, • Liaising with solicitors, landlords, developers and local authorities, • Supporting key internal and external stakeholder relationships, • Creating efficiencies through systems, automation and improved ways of working, • Protecting executive time and exercising judgement around priorities, • Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion, • Bringing calm, structure and clarity to a fast-moving and sometimes challenging environment WHAT YOU’LL BRING • Experience supporting senior leaders or C-suite executives in complex, fast-paced environments, • Confidence operating in challenging, evolving or high-pressure settings, • Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and project management capability, • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple senior stakeholders, • Commercial awareness and confidence working with data, KPIs and reporting, • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, • High levels of discretion, professionalism and emotional intelligence, • Strong Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Teams capability, • A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused mindset PACKAGE • £50,000 to £65,000 per annum (DOE), • 25 days holiday (increasing with service) plus bank holidays, • 4% pension contribution, • Private medical insurance and health cash-back plan, • Core hours 9.00am–5.30pm, with flexibility, • Strategic PA Network membership and development opportunities, • Global Skills Matrix: Level 4 WHY THIS ROLE You will work closely with two highly accomplished and complementary leaders, gaining exposure to both the commercial and operational heartbeat of the organisation, as well as the wider C-suite. Set the bar for greatness... The FA is excited to be recruiting a Risk Manager to join the Events team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head of FA Events, the role will coordinate the planning and delivery of safety and security services for FA Client Groups. This will be delivered on behalf of The FA, working closely with key security partners and stakeholders for FA events staged at venues 'on the road' away from Wembley. What will you be doing? Work with key partners and stakeholders (FIFA, UEFA, host Venue Team, relevant agencies and others) on the policies, procedures and processes related to the safety and security of events, including but not limited to entry into the key event areas on matchdays and non-matchdays for all target groups. To become established as a key conduit for day-to-day communication between key stakeholders, partners, and venues, to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to safety and security for the event. To review all venue safety and security documentation, including, but not limited to, the Stadium Operations Manual and its Standard Operating Procedures, to help shape The FA's event-specific risk assessment. For the avoidance of doubt, the FA event risk assessment should complement the existing Stadium risk assessment, not replace it. Work with internal FA departments and external stakeholders to ensure a joined-up approach to safety, progressing Safety, Security and Service as an ethos throughout the wider event planning. To be the key point of contact for the venue's Safety Officer. To support the Event Manager in the delivery of a Situation or Crisis Response Procedure. Coordinate a pool of Risk Managers (casual workforce) across all FA fixtures to ensure sufficient resource has been allocated to each match to manage any risks associated to the event. You will take the lead on all high-risk fixtures. Work in partnership with The FA's Safety and Security Advisors (SSA's), and Safeguarding Leads on matchday to ensure a coordinated approach to risk management is achieved. Ensuring local venue readiness to host the event through robust planning processes and having oversight of venue security operations linked to FA Client Groups (excluding Team personnel). Create and manage venue-specific Risk Assessments, along with a holistic and centralised FA Risk Register for the event. Executes additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities. Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance. What are we looking for? Essential for the role: NVQ Level 4 in Spectator Safety Management, coupled with an extensive working knowledge of safety and security planning in a sports environment. Proven successful experience in managing safety and security operations for major sporting, football or music events. Confident communicator with a track record of establishing strong relationships. Extensive experience in coordinating and engaging diverse stakeholders. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office. Articulate and accurate at documenting plans and procedures. Beneficial to have: Has held the role of Safety Officer in a large capacity sporting environment. Extensive knowledge of security planning procedures and the stakeholders responsible for their delivery.
