Support Worker (Children & Young People) Location: Uxbridge Salary: up to £28,500 per annum (DOE) Full-time | Rolling rota (includes sleep-ins) We are recruiting Support Workers to join an Ofsted-registered residential home for young people with Learning Disabilities and Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This role is ideal for someone with a QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent, who is passionate about making a positive impact in young people's lives. Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality care, promoting the health, welfare, education and development of young people., • Contribute to a safe, supportive and homely environment where young people feel secure and valued., • Support daily routines, including household tasks, appointments, education, leisure activities and family contact., • Build positive relationships while maintaining clear professional boundaries., • Assist with keyworker responsibilities, contributing to care plans and progress reviews., • Apply de-escalation and behaviour management strategies when required., • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, social workers and external professionals., • Rolling rota of 1 day on, 2 days off., • QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent (essential)., • Experience working with young people in a residential, educational, or care setting., • Strong communication, teamwork and behaviour management skills., • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging behaviour calmly., • Commitment to safeguarding and professional standards., • Salary: up to £28,500 DOE., • Sponsored training: Diploma Level 4 in Residential Childcare., • Ongoing professional development and support., • Rewarding role making a real difference in young people's lives.
