Our client is a dynamic international law firm with a profitable and highly rated London office, already home to a thriving finance and disputes practice. With core strengths in project and infrastructure finance, structured finance, syndicated and bilateral lending, mezzanine finance, trade and commodities finance, and receivables finance, the firm has also built a robust disputes offering encompassing High Court litigation and international arbitration. The London team comprises partners from leading global firms, bringing deep expertise across both established and frontier markets—including Israel, Russia/CIS, Sub-Saharan Africa, Maghreb, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, and key European jurisdictions such as Italy, France, and Spain. Clients span a broad spectrum: financial institutions, trade and import/export banks, funds, corporate borrowers, VC firms, private equity houses, high-growth tech companies, natural resources entities, and emerging market banks. As part of its strategic growth plan, the firm is seeking a senior solicitor at Counsel or Partner level to spearhead its expansion into high-growth sectors such as fintech, healthcare, biotech, life sciences, e-commerce, and renewable energy. This role will involve close collaboration with the New York office to harness deal flow from existing clients—particularly those in innovation hubs like Tel Aviv, where the firm has a strong track record advising on cybersecurity, fintech, and IPO-ready tech ventures. Key Responsibilities Lead and grow the London corporate practice, advising start-up accelerators, VCs, family offices, angel investors, UHNW and HNW clients. Provide strategic counsel on acquisitions, disposals, JVs, corporate structuring, and fund formation Leverage transatlantic relationships to drive inbound deal activity from the US and Israel Act as Head of Department or designated lead, depending on experience and ambition.
