Trusts & Tax Specialist (Private Client Team) Full-time | Flexible UK location (with hybrid working) | Competitive salary + benefits We are working with a well-established law firm to recruit a talented Trusts & Tax Specialist to join their high-performing Private Client team. This is a full-time permanent position, offering flexibility on base location, with hybrid working arrangements and real support for work/life balance. Key Responsibilities: • Manage a broad caseload of trust settlements, trust administration, and associated tax matters., • Draft and review trust documentation and provide specialist tax advice throughout the trust lifecycle., • Deliver a high level of client service, maintaining long-term relationships with individuals, families, and referrers., • Contribute to business development and networking to grow the team’s profile., • Support colleagues across the wider Private Client practice, including estate planning and cross-border matters., • Ensure compliance with all professional, regulatory, and firm-wide policies., • Take a proactive role in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the growth of the trusts practice. About You: • Relevant professional qualification (Solicitor, Chartered Tax Adviser, STEP, or equivalent)., • At least 3 years’ PQE with demonstrable experience in trusts and tax within a Private Client setting., • Strong technical expertise in drafting settlements, administering trusts, and advising on complex tax issues., • Broader knowledge of wills, estate planning, and wider Private Client matters is desirable., • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills., • Commercially aware with proven experience in business development., • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team., • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous.
