Responsibilities: • Be responsible for the successful delivery of projects • Supervise the delivery to the project programme • Understand and interpret drawings and specifications • Provide support to the project team • Ensure all staff, subcontractors and visitors are properly inducted, meet the competencies required of them and hold relevant qualifications and tickets • Undertake an ambassadorial role, representing the Business to customers, the public and official bodies • Comply with Company procedures and legal obligations at all times, promoting best practice • Establish safe working cultures and practices and environmental compliance • Maintain and manage construction sites and subcontractors, developing positive working relationships About You • Considerable experience in Civil Engineering • Working knowledge of JCT / NEC contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting • Good knowledge of specifications and testing regimes relevant to general civil engineering Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Site Engineer * Strong background in civil engineering works * Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * Relevant engineering or construction qualification * Valid Safe Pass / CSCS (or equivalent) * Confined Spaces, Temporary Works, or EUSR cards (desirable)

Maintain all statutory records on a daily/weekly basis as required. Ensure that all staff, sub-contractors and visitors to the site are appropriately inducted. Prepare and maintain traffic management and site strategy and review as required. Follow Company guidelines in relation to accident and incident reporting procedures. Assess the site prior to the start of the working day responding to any emergencies and addressing any areas of risk. Regularly walk all areas of the site to observe general standards of health and safety and take remedial action as appropriate. Ensure all trades are using the appropriate personal protective equipment and are working in a safe environment and manner. Attend health and safety and other training courses are required by the Company. Ensure the site is secure at the end of each day. Ensure that all plant is inspected on a daily/weekly basis. Include health and safety and environment on the agenda for all site team meetings. Keep the health and safety compendium up to date at all times. Accompany health and safety advisors during site visits and undertake remedial action as appropriate. Review and approve risk assessments and method statements for all operations and ensure that all work is in accordance with How To Build Safely and method statements. Ensure all site staff are trained in, and comply with the Customer Journey and the Company's customer service commitments. Ensure all plots have a customer care pass before obtaining CML prior to legal completion. Carry out service visits in accordance with the Customer Journey.
