About Social Tale Social Tale is a fast-growing TikTok Shop agency helping leading e-commerce brands scale through social commerce. We are looking for a Shop Ops Manager who understands TikTok Shop systems, processes, and performance drivers. This role is ideal for someone highly organised, analytical, and experienced in managing back-end shop operations for e-commerce brands. About the Role As the Shop Ops Manager, you will oversee all operational workflows that keep our TikTok Shops running smoothly. You will manage product setup, stock updates, promotions, order flow, reporting, troubleshooting, and coordination with internal teams and brand partners. You will play a key part in ensuring shops are optimised for conversion and compliant with TikTok Shop requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, fast execution, and a deep understanding of e-commerce operations. Key Responsibilities • Manage all product uploads, pricing, variations, and promotional setups on TikTok Shop, • Oversee shop health, backend performance, approval timelines, and compliance, • Coordinate inventory, stock alignment, fulfilment workflows, and order tracking, • Set up campaigns, bundles, vouchers, and platform promotions, • Troubleshoot listing issues, shipping errors, creator affiliate visibility, and backend flags, • Monitor daily metrics including GMV, conversion, traffic sources, and cancellation rate, • Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for brand partners and internal teams, • Work closely with Affiliate, LIVE, Strategy, and Creator teams to support launches and campaigns, • Maintain and optimise shop operations to maximise conversion and shop quality, • Identify shop issues early and escalate to TikTok reps when necessary Required Skills and Experience • 1 to 3 years of experience in TikTok Shop, Shopify, Lazada, Shopee, or other e-commerce operations, • Strong understanding of product listing, fulfilment workflows, and backend dashboards, • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with operational tasks, • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shops at once, • Proficiency in Sheets, ClickUp, trackers, and reporting, • Experience coordinating with brands, suppliers, or operations teams Nice to Have • Experience managing TikTok Shop backend directly for a brand or agency, • Knowledge of platform promotion tools, shop score metrics, and seller centre, • Familiarity with affiliate operations and creator commerce, • Background in e-commerce logistics or merchandising is a plus Why Join Social Tale • Work with fast-growing UK and US e-commerce brands, • Become a specialist in one of the fastest scaling commerce platforms, • Be part of a high-performance team that values clarity, speed, and ownership, • Opportunities for growth as TikTok Shop continues to expand How to Apply If you believe you are a strong fit for this role, we would love to hear from you.
