We’re looking for an experienced quality manager to be the quality lead for various Motorsport / Defence / Aerospace OEMs for my client based in Milton Keynes. You’ll be working closely alongside the head of production to lead the quality department. You’ll be part of a new senior leadership team and be involved with delivering on the high quality standards expected from customers including formula 1 teams. In this role you will be leading a team of 3 quality engineers and a quality supervisor, will have indirect reports underneath the supervisor. We need someone with that shop floor experience that has risen up the ranks through quality departments. We're happy to consider someone without management experience as you'll be hands on still and leading a small team. You'll need to be familiar with quality systems and quality tools such as root cause analysis, 8D, 5 Why etc...... Communication is a big part of this role, you'll need to be confident with speaking to your direct team, other internal teams/managers and customers.
