Duties of the Toolroom Team Leader: Planning &organization of works orders &labour within the department to achieve agreed daily O.T.D.& recoveries; ensuring production time is fully utilized &productivity maximized - Ensure timesheets are completed & booked Parts are produced in accordance with approved quality standards, procedures &process techniques as defined by the route cards & drawings Ensuring that standard working practices are followed on all operations in terms of Workflow, WIP quantities, process/cycle times and procedures. Continually monitors existing production techniques/methods &where identified implements improvements or alterations via the correct procedures. Monitors, analyses &orders department consumable stock levels Liaise with Maintenance on breakdowns, P/M's &W/O's of equipment to minimise downtime & maximise machine availability.
