We specialise in producing gluten-free pizza bases, dough balls and pizzas, supplying restaurants, pizzerias, wholesalers, distributors and other food businesses. Due to our growing business, we are currently recruiting for two separate positions: 1. Delivery Driver 2. Kitchen Assistant Please specify which position you are applying for when submitting your application. POSITION 1 – DELIVERY DRIVER We are looking for a reliable, responsible and professional Delivery Driver to deliver our products to customers using the company van. This is a hands-on role and involves more than driving. The successful applicant will also be responsible for loading and unloading products, checking orders and assisting with distribution and dispatch duties. Main Responsibilities • Deliver pizza bases, dough balls, pizzas and other products to restaurants, wholesalers, distributors and other customers., • Load and unload the company van., • Check orders against delivery notes before leaving the premises., • Make sure the correct products and quantities are loaded., • Deliver orders safely and within the agreed delivery times., • Obtain proof of delivery where required., • Handle frozen, chilled and ambient products correctly., • Assist with picking and preparing orders for delivery., • Make authorised collections from customers or suppliers when required., • Return reusable trays, crates and other items to our premises., • Report shortages, damaged products, rejected deliveries or customer issues promptly., • Keep the company van clean, tidy and hygienic., • Carry out basic daily vehicle checks., • Follow all food-safety, hygiene and allergen-control procedures., • Assist with warehouse, dispatch, stock movement and general distribution duties when required. Driver Requirements • Full UK driving licence., • Able to meet the requirements of our vehicle insurer., • Safe and responsible driving record., • Reliable and punctual with good time management., • Comfortable driving in London and surrounding areas., • Able to use navigation software., • Physically able to load, carry and unload boxes safely., • Professional and polite when dealing with customers., • Willing to assist with loading, unloading, warehouse and dispatch duties., • Previous multidrop or food-delivery experience is desirable but not essential., • Legal right to work in the UK. POSITION 2 – KITCHEN ASSISTANT We are also looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our food-production team. This is a varied, hands-on position involving food preparation, production, packing, cleaning and order preparation. As we are a small food manufacturing and distribution company, the Kitchen Assistant will also be expected to help with loading and unloading deliveries, moving stock and preparing products for distribution when required. Main Responsibilities • Assist with the preparation and production of pizza bases, dough balls, pizzas and other products., • Prepare ingredients and materials for daily production., • Follow recipes, production instructions and product specifications., • Assist with weighing, mixing, shaping, topping, baking, cooling and packing as required., • Pack, label and date-code finished products., • Pick and prepare customer orders., • Check products and quantities before dispatch., • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness., • Clean and sanitise work surfaces, equipment and production areas., • Follow the company's food-safety and allergen-control procedures., • Help maintain the integrity of our gluten-free products and prevent contamination., • Receive and put away ingredients, packaging and other incoming goods., • Assist with stock rotation and stock organisation., • Help load and unload company vans and supplier deliveries., • Move boxes, ingredients, packaging and finished products safely around the premises., • Assist the delivery and distribution team with preparing orders for dispatch., • Carry out other reasonable kitchen, production, packing, warehouse and dispatch duties when required. Kitchen Assistant Requirements • Reliable, punctual and hardworking., • Able to work well as part of a small team., • Good attention to detail., • Willing to learn and follow instructions., • Comfortable working in a busy food-production environment., • Willing to undertake food preparation, packing, cleaning, loading and unloading duties., • Physically able to stand for extended periods and safely move boxes and products., • Willing to follow strict food-safety, hygiene and allergen procedures., • Previous kitchen, catering, food-production or food-manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential., • Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable., • Full UK driving licence is an advantage but not essential for the Kitchen Assistant position., • Legal right to work in the UK. A degree or relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline would be advantageous. Applicants with substantial relevant professional or construction management experience will also be considered.
